Dora Vanette is an architecture and design historian and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. She is a lecturer at Parsons The New School for Design and School of Visual Arts, NY, and is currently working towards her PhD at the University of Southern California. Her research and writing has focused on histories of 20th century design and material culture and aging. She has developed educational materials for a variety of museums and design organizations and her writing has appeared in several publications including Dwell, Metropolis, and A Women’s Thing.
